Located in one of the most sophisticated districts of Rio de Janeiro, "Mr Lam" has become the epicenter of Chinese cuisine in the city.
The neighborhood of Lagoa, in the south of Rio de Janeiro, is distinguished for years for being a good place for lunch and dinner, an inescapable ride for travelers arriving delighted by that authentic mirror of water called "Rodrigo de Freitas" . Around this lake 7500 meter contour, high class buildings and countless restaurants succeed.
The vast culinary range that can be found in Lagoa, "Mr. Lam "(on Rua Maria Angélica) is one of the few working at the pace of trends in high oriental cuisine both Cantonese and Chinese in general. We must not fail to mention, however, to also Yume Asian and Sushi Leblon (in the first serve exotic jellyfish sushi).
Plates and environments
In "Mr.Lam" the options are numerous but include the Beijing Roast Duck (which is required to ask at least one hour in advance) and many classic temptations of Chinese cuisine as sweet and sour pork and chicken fillets with curry.
Regarding the design of the restaurant, Mr. Lam shows off three different floors as decoration and functionality appear to be perfectly amalgamated. On the first floor, the terracotta soldiers "guarding" the main area. The second floor, suitable for those looking for more privacy, is divided into four areas sufficiently far between. Finally, the terrace offers a privileged view of Corcovado and the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon.
