One of the key men of the twentieth century fashion has entered the world of design through the front door. We speak no less than Jean Paul Gaultier who, associated with the French company Roche Bobois has created a unique line of furniture that is still the most modern standards.
Gaultier couture has led to a number of very exquisite furniture finishes. Thus, the designer created it- thought-and a huge bed whose head has four blades that deploy and retract as a lightweight fabric.
Other contributions to the collection are the seats that mimic the Roman style with prints of Ben Hur velvet coated.
But all eyes are on the Mah Jong sofa is a classic and Gaultier has "reworked" adding significant details. This original Hans Hopfer, furniture now has a system of modular elements from set capitonés padded cushions, backs straight and angles.
For the fall of 2010, Bobois has announced that this sophisticated line will be available in its more than 200 stores in 40 countries.
