A combination of geological and climatic factors has made possible the existence of an absolutely unique in the province of San Juan Argentina landscape. To experience nature while admiring.
The uniqueness of this landscape, as fascinating as desert, would have started 60 million years ago when the geological rearrangement of the Andes are "imposed" on the Fertile Valley.
By the grace of that change, wet and full of species habitat became a wasteland. Of course, far from being a lonely and boring plateau, the valley of Argentina is an unusual whimsical town of landforms that steal the attention of all desert.
Officially called Ischigualasto Park (located approximately 500 kilometers from the capital of San Juan), here you can reach by car or bus services leaving from San Juan or the capital of the neighboring province of La Rioja.
Among the beauties that stand here, we found; "The Worm", "The Sphinx," "The Sea" and "The Mushroom", all clay formations that impose their magical cut contours against a usually clear sky.
For its strangeness, we can not fail to mention the site known as "bocce", a surface on which areas polished (first photo) spread. Astonishes its prolixity and immediately takes visitors to justify the "lunar" name that is known to the area.
Ischigualasto experience worth for photographers, for curious and anyone who wants to experience, surrounded by these wonders, the feeling of freedom and the idea that we are not separate from nature, but part of it.
