Museums, theme parks, shopping and even a miniature city. The capital of Colorado is still a very interesting destination for travelers to U.S.
Attractive for multiple reasons and also easy to get. These two reasons are often mentioned by travel agents to explaining the growing success of Denver as a destination for thousands of travelers. Indeed, the capital of Colorado (over 2.5 million) receives nonstop flights from major cities such as London, Frankfurt and Mexico. And what attractions, as will be seen, is their livelihood.
Theme parks and nature
In this category, it is almost inevitable to go through the Butterfly Pavilion & Insect Center. You can see hundreds of butterflies, all very close (to take splendid photographs). Also recommended, although for other reasons, is the Six Flags Elitch Gardens Theme Park. Here the natural beauty combined with water games for all ages. In Denver Zoo, one of the best on the continent, the most striking is the chance to see polar bears swimming.
Those who travel with children to Denver can not miss "Tiny Town", the miniature replica of a city that gets the traditions of the Far West. In this small city was built by the eccentric George Turner as a gift for his daughter in 1920. It has a children's train to pass through.
District for the shopping
In Denver, the best shops (variety and quality) are located in Cherry Creek. Choices include brands such as Cartier, Fifth Avenue, Steve Madden Abercrombie, Eddie Bauer, Zales and Calvin Klein.
Art of All Time
The Denver Art Museum impresses even before entering. Your recent changes, by Daniel Libeskind, have doubled in area with the idea of holding more contemporary art collections. Among the highlights of its permanent collection, African art, European art ("Waterloo Bridge" by Monet, for example), and pre-Columbian collections present a number of American artists such as Robert Colescott and Sandy Skoglund
Other museums include the options in Kirkland (decorative art of the twentieth century) and the Colorado History Museum.
